live art installation
In “Sequence of a Horse in Motion”, the structural framework of this live art installation is based on the artist’s own original dream sequence. A dancer hangs upside down in the middle of a space as a horse circles him, wrapping his body with every step it takes. The piece brings together human, animal, material and technology. Inspired by the imagery of dreaming, “Sequence of a Horse in Motion” invites the audience into a unique multi-sensory experience that challenges the ephemerality of both dreams and live art.
The live art installation “Sequence of a Horse in Motion” was funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe as part of the residency programme schloss bröllin e.V., supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the district of Western Pomerania-Greifswald.
